You'll work as a Journalist and/or Photojournalist in a Magazine in the heart of the capital city of Trivandrum/Thiruvananthapuram. The project offer work in both Journalism and Photojournalism and you should specify which you would like to focus on in your application.

Now, the interactive digital version of the printed magazine is creating waves on the world-wide web.
Tourism is the booming industry in Kerala and as a magazine that depicts the importance
of Tourism, the magazine creates an opportunity for the interns to express themselves through their magazine.
This project gives a work experience that matches your skills and interests, however it is important that you
can be flexible as you may not always be able to work full time in your chosen area. You will have the opportunity to learn and grown within this placement under the supervision of an
experienced editorial team.
On your first day you will be taken in by the Managing Director of the Magazine, and introduced to the staff there. You will also meet your supervisor. You will be working both individually and as part of the team.
You can take part in Content Writing, Editing, Proof Reading, Photography, Marketing etc. The volunteers will be able to write their own articles in the magazine as the magazine encourages its writers to express their views on almost any subject that deals with people and places.
You would be given tasks like Proof Reading, on-field reporting, researching, designing and editing. Those having photographic skills are encouraged to take pictures for the magazine
The working hours are from 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM for weekdays. The interns can work on Saturdays as well, but this is not mandatory. The working days have been made flexible for the convenience of the interns.
